You'll have the opportunity to see female Olive Ridleys or Leatherbacks nesting, while technicians rescue eggs are relocate them to a protected incubation area. Beginning in late September, you'll have the opportunity to care for and release hatchlings. Last year, our teams rescued over 14,000 endangered Olive Ridley eggs, and protected one Leatherback nest. Please contact todostortugueros@live.com for availibility and reservations.

Volunteers in our Sea Turtle Eco-Tour program are contributing directly to the conservation of the northern most sea turtle nesting beaches in the world. Olive Ridleys are making a comeback, but Leatherbacks are extremely endangered. Scientists have estimated that 95% of the Pacific Leatherback population has disappeared in the last thirty years. Your participation in this program with its low visitor impact, helps to raise awareness and funds needed to continue the conservation effort in this environmentally fragile area.
