Kayak with sea lions, snorkel in tropical waters, learn to surf, and take a cruise with local fishermen to see whales, sea turtles, and more on this week long Ocean Adventure. Seven days/ six nights Accommodation in comfortable casita with queen size bed, private bath, and large outdoor kitchen.  Four - five days of Eco-Adventures described below. Accommodation is located walking distance to downtown Todos Santos, for dining, shopping, and visiting Art Galleries.  Meals not included.

Sea Turtle Eco ~ Vacation  Volunteer Opportunities

(july - jan)

Work with local Sea Turtle conserva-tion experts rescuing endangered Sea Turtle eggs.  You will be trained by Biologists and Field Technicians in the location and rescue of endangered sea turtle nests.  Includes eight days/ seven nights accommodation in comfortable casita with queen size bed, private bath, and large outdoor kitchen. Plus, transportation in ATV to and from nesting sites and Turtle Incubation Area.  Experience  two-three nights of Egg Rescue Patrol on ATV's where you will have a chance to observe female Olive Ridleys and/or Leatherbacks nesting. You'll also have the opportunity, to enjoy the paradise of Todos Santos  through kayaking, and snorkeling, or in a private surf lesson. Accommodation is located close to centro so free time can be spent shopping, dining and visiting Art Galeries.   Beginning in September, sea turtles will be hatching and you can help care for and release hatchlings.  Meals, airfare, and airport transportation not included.

Events:

Arrival Day: Welcome Orientation and Sea Turtle Presentation by Field Technician & Coordinator, followed by Sunset Cruise on ATV's

Day 2:  Kayak/Snorkleing Tour, free time for lunch and dinner, then go to bed early for AM patrol!

Day 3:  4:00 AM Egg Rescue Patrol.  Then after breakfast and siesta, you can go shopping in colonial Todos Santos or just hang out sipping margaritas at the Hotel California

Day 4:  Surf Lesson at Cerritos Beach, free time for lunch and dinner, then go to bed early for AM patrol!

Day 5:  4:00 AM Egg Rescue Patrol. Then, after breakfast and a siesta, you'll have the opportunity to visit art galleries and stroll downtown.

Day 6:  Activity make up, free day, or Palm Beach Exploration

Day 7:  4:00 AM Egg Rescue Patrol (optional). Then, after breakfast and a siesta, you'll have the opportunity to visit Palm Beach again to check for and document Sea Turtle activity.

Kayak ~ Surf Safari

Learn to surf in the clear, tropical waters at Cerritos Beach, kayak with sea lions, and snorkel in the Old Port of Todos Santos on this week long Safari. Seven days/ six nights Accommodation in comfortable casita with queen size bed, private bath, and large outdoor kitchen.  Accommodations are walking distance to downtown Todos Santos where you can find authentic mexican restaurants, locally grown fruits and veggies in markets, or stroll through Art Galleries and shops. This six day safari includes four days of Surf Instruction, one day Kayak & Snorkeling Tour, and Sea Turtle Hatchling Release (oct-jan).
